[SOLVED] Buying a used gtx 950

I found a used gtx 950 2gb sc and the seller wants about 50$ for it, would this be a good deal??

I’m going to put it in a HTPC that has a 2200G processor in it, no heavy gaming will be done since I have a better spec pc for that.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Well.....if you look on EBay, they are generally going for more than $50......so I don't think it's a bad deal.

I guess my question would be what are you doing with the HTPC that the graphics of the 2200G can't handle? As for the graphics card, looking at completed auctions, I'd say $50 is ok for the card, but I'd also be wary of fake cards.

I’m physically meeting the guy and testing the card before payment so I’m not worried about a fake.

And for that HTPC I’m gonna use it as a streaming device/steam machine hooked up to my tv for light couch gaming, but the main reason is for me to take home when I visit my family which are located 10 hours car drive away from where I work, it became very tiring and difficult to haul up my heavy full ATX tower home to play when I’m back home for a vacation or a weekend, on the other hand my HTPC is a mini itx with a handle...

I tested a few games and they run close to or less than 30fps on mid to low presets with the 2200G but if I can up them to about 60fps with mid presets that’d be great, I hope the 950 would deliver that.
