I'm sorry, but there are too many factors at play:
1.) Good news for AMD often results in the price dropping. I don't know why, but I've seen it many times
2.) Nervous investors, you never know when the stock is going to hit bottom until after the suit is settled (win OR loss)
3.) Bad news for Intel often drives AMD shares down. That's because lots of investors use Intel as their barrameter for the IC market. So if Intel looses 3% of sales to AMD on a stagnant market, AMD's value can go down.
I'd say there are too many factors at play right now to call AMD stock a solid investment.
