[SOLVED] Buying GPU 3090 from eBay

Question about buying/auction a Nvidia Geforce 3090 from eBay. Not really familiar with eBay in general, so would you recommend getting it from there for a good prize? Couple are 300-500 cheaper then from a normal vendor, even new ones... Is that trustworthy?

Link? It’s usually pretty easy to tell scams on ebay. For something like a 3090, only buy from a reputable seller with recent good feedback.

Expect to pay between 2500-3k

Look for new in box and reputable seller.

If you are anywhere near the microcenter in Houston, they have numerous 6900xts in stock, if you want to pay 2300.

Also is there a big difference between the basic 3090 Founders Edition and the other variations in terms of performance? I dont really need fancy features for 3d rendering tasks, its all about perfomance.

I have no issues with eBay. They should have the eBay buyer protection, I’d definitely buy from eBay before buying from Craigslist. Just really read descriptions carefully and look at the seller feedback before buying. But with eBay buyer protection, my understanding is you can file a claim within so many days even if they don’t offer returns. I think it’s 30 days? Double check that though
