Buying new HDD clone old or?

Hi, so I am soon going to upgrade my old 500GB to a new 2 TB harddrive, so before you ask, is it Windows? No it's not Windows i need to get cloned, it's just steam + games + some apps i can put out the old harddrive and use the new, like nothing happend.
Anyone know if it can get this to happen, sorry for my bad english

We'd need a clearer picture of what you are trying to do.

The current 500GB is a secondary drive?
And it contains Steam + games + some applications?
And you want to move all that to the new 2TB drive?

Suggestion on how will follow confirmation of the above.
