Hey can I run games like ac syndicate ,the witcher, battlefield 1,call of duty infinite warfare,.. with a playable fps (for me 15 fps game is playable with the lowest graphical settings ingame on :

Nvidia GT730 2gb DDR3

8 GB Ram DDR3

i5 2500 CPU 3.30 Ghz Processor

Solution

A gt 730 is really really bad. Even current intel hd graphics are better I recommend saving up for a gtx 750 at least the price difference between the 2 is about 30 $ but the 750 is twice as good.

Here's the thing, a 2gb DDR3 730 had a 64bit memory bus. You are not getting any benefit from a 2gb videocard with DDR3 and 64 bit in games. You are wasting money. IF it has to be a 730 for some reason, at least get the DDR5 64 bit version, with 1gb vram. You'll still be limited to low resolution and not so great framerates but it'll work much better especially since you are able to tolerate compromises.

the integrated graphic card that i have in the i5 2500 cpu is intel hd 2000(i was able to play ac black flag on it with 15 fps: playable for me ) with 32 mb dedicated memory and outdated dx 10.1 .
if i had a current intel hd graphics , i would buy a good powerful gpu.
so to upgrade from the intel hd 2000 to a gt 730 is something, right??

This guy is running a GT 730 and playing The Witcher 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2shUakpLgyA.

He's running at 1366x768 and getting 24 fps, at least in the opening scene. It'll probably tank in large, complex areas like the big northern city (Novograd?) I would have a hard time hitting enemies at that frame rate, congrats to you if you can manage it.

Just do like I did and search youtube with "GT 730" and "Witcher 3" and you'll get plenty of examples of framerates, stuttering and gameplay. Just substitute your favorite game(s).

For some reason I couldn't find 3dmark Vantage scores for the 750 Ti, nor could I find Fire Strike scores for the Intel HD 2500, so some extrapolation is necessary.

For a little more insight, here are some synthetic benchmarks.

http://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/3757434 Intel HD 2000 3dmark Vantage "free" p1676
http://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/5158294 GT 730 3dmark Vantage p6165

And some more. These are not directly comparable to the ones above, but we'll have to make do.

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/3595098 Geforce 730 Fire Strike 1816
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/2291937 Geforce 750 Ti Fire Strike 3937

So we can see that the 730 is about 4 times faster than the HD 2000, but the 750 Ti is more than twice the speed of the 730, or more than eight times faster than the HD 2000.

So I guess it depends on your tolerance for low frame rates, how much money you have and what 730s and 750 TI's are going for in your region.

as i said before i don't care about high graphic settings ingame, i just aim to have a minimum of a 14 fps for the modern games . so to upgrade from the intel hd 2000 to a gt 730 is enough for a playable gaming experience , right??
