Hey, one week ago i've changed my GPU. Today I've noticed when GPU hits heavy load i can hear electric "bzzzz" sound in my right headphone. I've tried plugging in them to the front and rear panel but result is the same. Also tried another headset (cheap smartphone headset) and it's still the same.

It's not loud, I can barely notice that when game is quiet or when i mute the whole system, but i would like to get rid of it.

My rig:
Intel Core i7-9700k
MSI RTX 2080 super gaming x trio
Gigabyte Aorus Z390 master
Corsair RMx 750W
G.Skill Ripjaws V - 16GB (2x8), 3200MHz
SilentiumPC Armis AR7X TG RGB
HyperX Cloud

As far as i know this mobo has separated layer for audio devices (2 USB - yellow color).
Will external soundcard be the solution?
Will it be worse than built-in soundcard?

I once had to use a discrete sound card for that very reason. Onboard sound was picking up my hard drive and playing it back through the headphones. (A neat sound, but quite annoying)

More recently I had a my GTX980s put noise on my input line only, pretty sure that was software related though, only happened in a few games. But it came through as a sweeping growl to anyone receiving audio from me as my FPS flucuated.

Before you go out and buy anything, try updating your sound drivers and graphics drivers to the latest. Maybe see if there is new firmware for either.

As an experiment, try moving the GPU to the other slot, just to see if it goes away.

I would say worst case get a discrete or USB sound card. But maybe just report this to Gigabyte, they might have a solution or just offer to replace your board. You never know, it could just be two perfectly matched components that cause this and replacing one or the other will make it go away.

Other slots - same result.

Everything is up to date, but I've reinstalled the drivers anyway.

I have 2 usb marked as "DAC-UP" maybe headset which uses USB will be the solution?
If not, what DAC should i buy? Creative Sound Blaster X G6 or something else maybe?
