Buzzing Noise

I'm rebuilding my old Packard Bell system. I don't know what Mobo it is, pretty sure its an Intel 430VX Chipset though. But after cleaning it out, replacing some parts, and finally putting it back together, its making a buzz when I turn it on. It starts with about a 2 second buzz, followed by 3-4 seconds of silence, and then another 2 second buzz. Could someone tell me what it means? I thought it may be an incorrect jumper somewhere, but I've checked and theyre all set exactly the way they've always been.

That "buzz" is probably a beep code. One long beep usually means your video card is not seated properly, though it might also mean your ram is not in all the way.

Yup, I reseated the RAM and it stopped buzzing. Except that now, I have no video display. And also the damn floppy keeps spinning so I unplugged it for now.

Turn the floppy cable the other way. Make sure the video card is well seated, and that the monitor cable is in the right way, and fully attached.
