Question Cables or other options for an Alienware R8

My Son has an R8 and I mistakenly ordered a "official" 850w modular PSU from a supplier on Ebay. After opening up his computer to put in a much larger nvme drive, I realized his PSU is not modular, and I had the other one on its way. I did some research, and found a video that shows someone putting a regular PSU into one of these, however I still don't have the cables to use this one, (and it uses stupid proprietary ends) and they didn't hook up any regular ssd or the dvd/bluray burner. I believe I can put in a regular one, But from a little research, I think their dvd/br uses a special small power connection. Dell doesn't seem to sell the cables for these anymore, and the cables I've been finding on Ebay don't look like a collection of the right ones, some even have some kind of Massive brick looking end that I know his doesn't use. Is there a site I can aquire all the wires I need or perhaps would there be an option to get a regular PSU and a converter wire to run to the dvd/br?

easier said than done on this Ebay sale. If I can't get the cables, I'll just sell it myself. I have seen there is an adaptor to possibly power the dvd/BR but I need to look at the original cable going into it to be sure its the right one and just use a regular psu
