Question Cage in the way of prebuilt psu wires

I bought an hp prebuilt a few months ago, and would like to upgrade. There is only one problem, there is a cage in the way and stopping me from unplugging any of the wires. Has any one any idea if this is removable or not without cutting anything?

It certainly is. What model is that, you can probably find diagrams in the service manual. Just take the model and service manual and put it into google.

From what I can see in the picture, once you disconnect the drives and possibly hold that black plastic center clip back that entire tray should come out, or perhaps pivot out of the way. It kind of looks like a handle specifically for that.

Just poke around and tug on things as well. If you detect movement, that is probably the part that can move in some way.

If it cannot be removed, the are always cable extensions, and get them in the proper wire gauge.

The clips along the top of the picture are for the front panel.

Looks like an HP machine, and a TFX PSU?

The cage should hinge near the front of the computer.
