MW2 is the only COD game worth it's salt... BF3 looks amazing, if multiplayer is smooth i'm all in... COD:BO is a terrible game. activision and EA will get my $ if they make smooth games that aren't a chore to play like blackops... BO's multiplayer is less fun than a DMV visit..

I hate MW3 and the COD series just as much as all of you do, BUT this ELITE service of theirs looks pretty cool. I mean come on, how many other games out there include tactical maps that show you all the places you got shot in and help you select weapons? That's pretty cool- otherwise Steam can do everything else. If you had to pay for the service (yes I know you have to pay for premium) then I would say forget about it but it looks really good.

@alidan

I think the word your looking for when referring to OFP is combat simulation. Its not exactly much of a tactical shooter like rainbow 6 which was another great game. But yeah i would love OFP in a whole new engine just throw a good look on that game and bring it back to life :)

O yeah R.I.P. Westwood :/

what kind of dumbass is willing to pay for a monthly subscription for gaming with one game? Oh wait...WoW players...I forgot. There's a pointless game right there. I'd like to unlock an achievement for wizard farting.

This is quite amusing. A one time $15 fee for each crappy map pack that allows people to play on those maps at ANY time OR a possible $5/mo (or higher) charge to play all DLC but, only as long as you're a subscriber. I love how Activision likes to assume that poeple won't notice they're actually trying to get more out of their customers.

Another amusing thing is all the BF3 fanbois. The game hasn't been released, yet you're making claims it'll be so much better. I remember similar claims with the MoH reboot and we all know how that turned out. IMHO BF3 is just another scripted pile of steaming . Don't believe me? A small example then. Between 4m30s & 5m00s in the "Fault Line" gameplay trailer, the squad/fire team leader is barking orders at you to do everything yet does nothing despite the fact there are hostiles in his field of view. There are several examples of this throughout the trailer. Just about the only thing that BF3 has that CoD doesn't is a destructable environment. However, there are other games with destructable environments as well. So what does this leave for BF3? In any case, time will tell.

EA milks the madden franchise for every dime they can get
Activision does it with COD...

it is what it is..

Lucas has done it with star wars for more then a decade
