A friend of mine wants to upgrade his computer in order to able to launch Call of duty ghosts...everything should be fine apart from his graphics card. Here are his system requirements:

Intel Core 2 quad cpu
6 GB ram
OS windows 7 64 bit
geforce gt 220

He'd like to buy a good graphics card around 100€ or a bit more...what would you suggest?

It's compatible with the motherboard but I can't find a listing with the power supply details in that computer. The Nvidia GTX650 requires a 400 watt power supply and pre built systems(like dell, packard bell)are well known for putting cheap underpowered power supplies in their computers. Is there any way your friend can open the side panel on his computer and have a look at the sticker on the side of the power supply?
It should have all the details on it. This will have to be checked before buying the graphics card.

His actual PSU is 245W xD packard bell has kept it pretty under power.... i'm pretty sure he needs a new psu :)...i think a 600w psu would be a good choice...am i right? do you have any suggestions?

400 watt or greater is recommended for that graphics card. But for future upgrades a higher one seems wise.
If you tell me what country your in i'll have a look at the power supplies where you are and recommend one for you:)

Thanks a lot :) we decided to take that psu :) however while we were about to order the gtx 650, he asked me if it was worth spending a bit more to buy a gtx 650 ti...what do you think? Is it still compatible with the motherboard?
