Question Can´t update BIOS on ASUS PRIME A320M-K (Selected file is not a proper BIOS)

Hi, I need help, I have an ASUS PRIME A320M-K motherboard, I bought a new AMD Ryzen 5 4500 processor, I had to update the BIOS because of that. The original version was about 4200 and I updated it to 5606, but this processor needs version 5862, which when I try to download it, it writes to me in the BIOS Selected file is not a proper BIOS. I did absolutely everything, I watched all the videos on youtube / forums on the internet, I'm 100% sure I'm downloading the correct BIOS version. I'll be happy for help because I'm losing hope already

Are you using the EZ-Flash BIOS tool to update ?

Yes, im downloading it from this page and I used the EZ-Flash BIOS tool, also tried Ai suite 3 from asus to flash it in windows but it didn´t worked too

If you have problems with 5862, then update to latest 6024 instead.

I have the same problem, same MB, upgrading from AMD Athlon X4 950 to Ryzen 5 5600X. Any solutions?

Well, the 5862 version removes CPU support for both the OP and @gabitech CPU's. This is very likely some sort of 'brick' protection - as if you were to install this update then your current CPUs would stop working. My guess is you'll need to ask Asus support how to bypass it.
