Question Can’t control logitech speaker with tv remote control

I recently bought a wansa smart TV and i tried to connect my logitech speaker to it, and it works but it’s to loud and I can’t lower the volume with my tv remote. Is this a problem with my TV or my speaker?

It doesn’t have a volume control button.

That’s the thing I looked for an audio output settings but i couldn’t find any. I it’s a problem with my TV. I think i should buy something like this:

Also when I plug the speaker in, sound comes from both the speaker and the TV.
