Question Can’t get past welcome loading screen on Windows 10.

I left my PC running for about a week with two Python applications running for testing. (Really bad idea looking back now). When I got home I went to do homework and just general stuff on my pc and went to turn off my Python applications and my pc was ridiculously slow.... I could move applications around but it took forever and I could not get my Python applications to close so I held down the power button and turned it back on. It took a while to turn back on but when it did I signed into my account and it just got stuck on welcome with the loading symbol.... I let it sit for about 10 min and it didn’t ever load so I tried booting in safe mode and after going through the process it just gets stuck and nothing else pops up on my screen and I get no signal to my monitor.... I don’t know what else to do...

Why would you leave your pc running a program for an entire week nonstop? I don't have the answer but this brought a lot of questions and most are about human mentality related lol
