Hi,

I have this monitor:

https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-22-monitor-p2214h/apd/320-9791/monitors-monitor-accessories

I bought this display cable:

https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B014I8UL8U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Im using a Ryzen 3200g APU on a Windows 10 System I recently built. I get stuttering in old games where it shouldn't stutter in older games.

My system doesn't have a display-port output. It does have DVI output though and HDMI out.

Does the HDMI to DVI cable cause any issues or is it exactly the same as DVI to DVI anyway?

If I disable HDCP in radeon will I get a shocking blank screen?

Like micro stuttering in games.
Sounds like Phaaze is right. Its probably just the normal "stuttering" you get when your frames are not syncd.

I get the same thing on my monitor, although it has freesync I have a nvidia gpu and dont have a DP connector to try the freesync on my 2060.

I get it most prevalent in GTA V. I HAVE to use vsync to play it. and it comes out buttery smooth.

But other games, like Apex Legends, it doesnt seem to be as bad. Or maybe it is and I just dont notice it with all the fast paced movement. But it seems to only really bother me when playing 3rd person games like gta v or rdr2.

Unless you upgrade your monitor Im afraid that vsync is the only fix. Maybe try adaptive vsync and it tends to have a bit less input lag.
