Question Can a bad HDD sector cause Texture loss in video games ?

So from the last few days, I've been experiencing texture loss on the 2 games i have installed on my 2tb drive. Its partitioned. I've checked drivers and stuff and found no issues. I've reinstalled windows. So i just want to make sure. (The WD Life guard test is running right now). Please tell me, im scared lol.

look more gpu issue try to remove gpu from system use onboard and see it texture los comes on .
