8320e=95w
8320=125w
There be a bit of a difference there. There are numerous instances on this forum and others of these boards and ones like them not being able to handle 125w cpus.
There is no difference in any FX octacore once they're overclocked to the same speed. The only reason an FX-8320E is rated at 95W is because its stock clock is 3.2 Ghz instead of 3.5 Ghz (for the FX-8320). Overclock them both to 4.2 Ghz using the same voltage and they will consume the same amount of power.

I know its a cheap board, rev 5 was supposed to alleviate some of the problems with 125w cpus though as they added heatsinks and changed the caps.
That said, im certainly no amd expert. Is 80 degrees for that cpu at stock normal?
No, its not. With an FX processor the max AMD recommends is 65C at load. 80C sustained will kill it eventually (and it could well be why its crashing). Its too hot. You need to track down why it is.
Well maybe got lucky as its a known common issue with boards that use a 4+1 VRM phase to struggle with the 125w CPUs and considering the OP is having issues it's a valid concern.
As for the temps 80° is bad and well past where the cpu will throttle, however HWMonitor can have issues reading the proper values, for example if those voltages where current the system system shouldn't even be running. Try using AMD overdrive to monitor the temps.
