[SOLVED] Can a Windows Account carry settings from computer to computer?

My mom has gone through three different computers. Her first laptop had all sorts of random, glitchy things happen and I had to Internet connectivity issues constantly. It would drop connectivity and say "Connected, no internet." After a disconnect/reboot, it would work fine for a few days. She also had a desktop computer that she uses and when wired, it works fine, but when on the wireless connection, it has the same issue. For her birthday, we purchased her a brand new fancy Lenovo 2in1 with high ratings. It has not started to have the same connectivity problem, but more frequent. Like, multiple times an hour. The only things that have stayed consistent between the computer are my mom, and the Windows account her profile is tied to. We have also gone through multiple wireless routers over the years and the computers had the same issues with all of them. No other computers in the house have this problem except the ones her Microsoft account is tied to. Any way that is the problem, if so, any way to reset her account or something?

Whoever is setting up and configuring her computer will need to log on to her computer using an Administrator account.

Get her account(s) cleaned up and working again. Do not give/grant her any Admin rights.

Lock down everything using Group Policy settings.

Double check her laptop: ensure that only one network adapter is enabled. Either wired or wireless.

Consider setting her up without a Microsoft Account. Microsoft does not want you to do that but for situations such as your Mom and younger family members no Microsoft Account may be a better option and/or necessary.

Delete her existing profile and start from scratch.

First work out and establish the current account and its settings.

Second plan out what you need to do with respect to a new account and the privileges you wish to grant her.

Third, create a recovery disk to make it easier to restore the system if all goes astray again.
