Can a wireless connection sustain a heavy data transfer load?
Running this wireless access point at the full 108Mbps, and using the
Netgear WG311T Wireless Cards and a Netgear WG511T PCMCIA Card. When trying
to transfer a large file (650MB image file) or even a bunch of MP3 files of
around 5MB each as a test to see how stable
everything is, and how the speed will drop etc, the connection
drops..drops.. drops... and then just appears to lose DNS and everything
comes to a halt. The wireless connection is gone and I have to reset the
access point to get things running again.
Any ideas why this would happen? All drivers and firmware are the latest..
Any input appreciated!
