I'm about to purchase a Zotac gtx 1060 AMP! but reluctant because of my PSU..
My current GPU that is plugged on this psu is a 9800gt Green.

Crown Challenger 500w

Has a 5year warranty, and some promising logo, LoL
I don't know about this but here's the voltage spec...

Also has 2 6+2 pin connector

Current processor & ram:
i5 6500
8gb ddr4 ram

Game planning to play is, The division.
Would it be okay to use this PSU in a long run?

if not then i would just purchase a Gtx 1050ti... 🙁

Hi aditya, thanks for a very fast reply! umm... i just wonder.. where can i see the tier of this psu? thanks in advance!

Edit: i mean my current psu* can i see the link of the tier list where my psu is listed?

I don't know that particular PSU's quality, it's not the forum's tier list, which can be seen here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
A GTX 1060 system requires about 20 amps on the 12v line, this PSU can feed 30. So in theory it shouldn't be a problem. I would just test it and see if it works under load. If the PSU has been working good with your current system, no need to replace it, since a GT9800 requires more power than a GTX 1060.

Thanks for the info Bootcher! and yes it's not on the tier list.. maybe it's really is a rubbish psu, not even in the list.. but on their site, there are psu which are labeled Generic, in this one is on the "Continious output" list...

i hope someone here has a experience using this kind of power supply... >.<

Usually unknown brands of PSU's mean it is not of best quality, but if it has worked without a problem with a 9800GT it should work with a GTX 1060. If you rather be safe get a new PSU of reputable brand, see the tier list for good options, I would recommend getting at least a tier3 PSU for your setup. Remember a PSU is a good investment, a good PSU can easily outlast 2 computers' lifecycle.

i can't make myself to buy a new psu since i just bought this psu last month (Really sad about buying without reference.. 🙁 regret regret )

thanks for a very infomartive answers! well i'll be buying the card this december or maybe january.. might try it anyway >.< that 9800gt reference is giving me hope LoL! hope it does not blow my components. thanks bootcher!
