Can AMD salvage QFX with an in-house chipset?

You asked if anyone would take a different dual socket setup over QFX and I provided you with a few reasons why I'd take a Mac Pro-style setup over it. Which you are entitled to ignore, but I'd advise you not to as you're about to waste a sh*tload of money!


But that's BS. I put together my current system last year for $2000 with one socket. If I drop $2500 for two sockets, how is that not a good thing?

If I were an Intel Fanboy then all 14 systems running in my house would be Intel. In point of fact they're not all Intel, half of them are AMD based.

So....blame the street, or the track(OS)...not the manufacturer.(in other words...."pass the buck").
