[SOLVED] Can anyone confirm that this is the right vBIOS for this card ?

Sorry if it is obvious just never done this before and am paranoid. Not totally sure if there are multiple variations of VBIOS for one card.

Why do you think that you need to update the GPU firmware? Why not just the latest driver from NVIDIA.

And no it is not obvious and you are not paranoid, I've built/rebuilt thousands of computers since the 1970s and very rarely updated firmware for a GPU. Compare that to hundreds of times with controller cards and whatnot.

I think I've only done it once to get a pair of cards to match exactly for SLI.

Run GPU-Z and look for this:

GPU Device Id: 0x10DE 0x2484
Device ID: 10DE 2484

If it matches, that's a compatible vBIOS. If not, your own risk on that one.

Download and install EVGA's Precision X1 program. https://www.evga.com/precisionx1/

If the card has a BIOS or firmware update, it will let you know and walk you through the update accordingly.
