Can anyone explain this SSD issue?

Just purchased a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB at a very good price. Installed fine and functions as it should. However when I went to device manager I noticed it was appearing as an 840 Pro. The box says 860, even says 860 on the actual SSD, Samsung Magician tool also says its an 860. I'm very confused as to why device manager says otherwise.

(I've already contacted samsung support, waiting to hear back from them. The guy I spoke to had never seen something like it haha)

Device manager doesn't always display the correct names. Wouldn't be the first time something like this happens.

Uninstall driver and let windows install new one. that should fix it.
