Can anyone identify this display port

Hi, I am hoping someone can recognise the display port on my generic windows tablet. It is approximately 3mm by 8mm with a double row (6 pins per side) male terminal in the centre. You can see that it is much smaller than the USB slot to it's right and even smaller than the micro SD slot to it's left. I hope someone can help me.

Pull up a link on the windows tablet you have it may show the display interface.

Hi, Thanks for those that have responded, I probably should have asked how to add a photo first before asking about the display port.

It is very similar to the type D HDMI port in size and shape etc. but the pin count is different, mine has only 12 pins, 6 per side and very slightly offset.

I think we need a model number. best guess I have is its some proprietary connector like htcs extUSB that works with an mhl adapter. but that's a wild guess... maybe I'm missing something obvious

Hi unskol, thanks for your interest, unfortunately i have little information as far as model is concerned (I have searched for it). Item was purchased on eBay a year and a half ago (and it still works great) the seller has since stopped trading (or answering emails) and the item is a generic one that I suspect is re branded by who ever chooses to sell it.

Below is what I have as far as model goes,

according to those specifications, it's a mini-VGA socket

Hi fantastik250 and thanks for your reply, unfortunately (it is a case of been there done that bought the cable and it didn't fit) I have seen this site before and even went ahead and purchased a mini HDMI cable only to find that it did not fit.

Try mini VGA
