On the ASUS site it says that an ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming motherboard "supports DisplayPort with max. resolution 4096 x 2304 @ 60 Hz." Will this motherboard support 144Hz at 1440p (2560 x 1440)? This is the max resolution your CPU integraded graphics can support (HDMI 4096x2304 @24 Hz DP 4096x2304 @60 Hz eDP 4096x2304 @60 Hz ) . You listed that you have a 2080 Super so you will connect your monitor to your GPU and not on the motherboard and you wont have any problem to run it at 144Hz with display port.
