Can GPT format system recognised another MBR format drive ? Can two HDD one GPT(os) and another MBR (backup) be used together in one system?

My Question is:-
In a GPT formatted Windows OS drive can I add another HDD with MBR format and can the two drives work together happily?

Solution
The short answer is yes.

The BIOS format that uses GPT was created to replace the one that used MBR. Therefore its backwards compatible and can easily access MBR drives. It was introduced at a time all systems used MBR so it had to be able to use the drives to be accepted. For a long time the only use for GPT formatted drives was as storage, only 64 bit versions of win 7 could use GPT boot drives. Now WIn 10 prefers GPT as boot drives.

the format of a storage drive doesn't stop it being used really. GPT & MBR are both fine.
