Can I add an extra 3tb storage drive?

My motherboard says that it supports 3tb. I would like to add a 3tb storage drive, but does the 3tb support mean that it will support multiple drives with 3tb a piece? or a maximum of 3tb between all drives combined? Right now I have a 128gb ssd boot drive and a 250gb hdd for storage. Can I add a 3tb drive to this? And will all the space be recognized by the motherboard. Here's a link to my motherboard.

It means that your motherboard supports each drive up to 3TB, you cannot go beyond this amount for individual drives. Essentially it's just an addressing limitation for each drive. Example being if you say have two drives that are 5TB each your mother board will only show 3TB on each of those drives for a total of 6TB instead of the 10TB. There are work arounds for this like making a virtual hard drive and splitting your drive if it's over that limit, but this limit isn't a limit across all drives. It's only a limit for each individual drive.
