• Happy holidays, folks! Thanks to each and every one of you for being part of the Tom's Hardware community!

Can i buy this GPU?

No you don't need a minimum of 300w. This is just a guess on specs but each system is different and should be looked at independently. Psus are also not created equal and a 300w from one company can be really a 100w and from another company can be a 500w. There is no regulation on the stated power rating. You see tom's doing builds as well as people everywhere in the world going under this suggested amount with no issues.

Well here is it
CPU: Intel core 2 duo e8200 2.66 ghz
RAM: 3 gb ddr2
HDD: 160 gb idk how much rpm
GPU: GM33 intel
I have this esprimo e3510 pc with big passive cooling on the front.
The power supply can be switched between 130w and 230w thats what the manual said
So if i am buying a gpu what will you offer?

The psu switch is volts not watts. It's a 275w psu and seems to be a decent quality. You will be fine. http://www.aryan.es/info/papers/VFYE3510PF091ES.pdf The original graphic card options are similar power. The 610 is 29w, the nvs 290 is 21w, and I couldn't find the exact specs of the 9300ge but it should be ~25w. If the pc is just use for browsing, movies, and other non-intensive tasks then you could go with something cheaper. You can usually find a 5450 for cheaper.

Ty so much the pc is for gaming only
What gpu will you reccomend for games like League of Legends, NFS World, Mount & Blade warband ,BF3 maybe
CoD4 and what fps will get with this gpu on this games?

You can play on low for the less intensive games but don't expect much. You want specific fps then google.

Being a cfx psu and a pretty low spec btx pc I wouldn't really suggest spending any money upgrading something you can't reuse. I would say to get at least a 6570 to comfortably play those games but I am unsure if it'll work on that psu. Can you say how many amps is on the 12v? Look on the psu sticker.

+12V---15.3A (18.5A per 10s)
-12V----0.3A
Max surge output power is 300W
+3.3V---7.5A (10A per 1s)
+5V--- 15A (17 per 1s)
Can i buy atleast hd5550 on this psu?

The 6450 uses less power than the 610 and is better performance. There are multiple versions of the card, one is 18w (core clock is 625mhz which most of them are), the other is 27w (750mhz) so you can see which version you have. You can always change the speed to lower the power. But it is lower power than the available stock cards. The psu specs say it'll handle it. The only issue maybe if it's enough performance for what you want.

Look i am buying a gpu for gaming.
I have this Intel chipset g33/g31 and i run League of Legends,NFS World,M&B Warband all very low preset on 1366x768 res. and i get 50 fps constant on these games.
I am happy if i can play on low,NOT HIGH,MEDIUM etc.I am used to play on low preset and i dont really matter.
So when i install this gpu how much fps will i get on these games (LOW PRESET 1366x768).
