can I change laptop gpu

I have a laptop and I want to use it for gaming can I change the gpu in the laptop like disktop pc ? and can I use cards like gtx 960 in it ? or do I need a different kind of gpu made just for laptops

There are different kind of GPU for Laptop. Usually with "M" behind(GTX 960m, gtx 970m)

Not sure you can change, but mostly you cannot.
