Question Can i charge my phone from my laptop with USB Type C?

Hello everyone, first of all my English is not that good so i hope you understand what i say. The title is not well written but i didn't want to write much but i'll explain it better here. Because i'm leaving abroad in 20 days from now and i'll be getting my phone and laptop on the road. The laptop has a USB Type A port and my phone has a USB Type C connector, my question is, can i charge my phone with my laptop? the Type C will be connected in my phone and the Type A in the laptop, is it worth it? Also my phone has the fast charging option, if i enable it? is it a good idea? or i'll be playing with fire if this option is enabled? Thank you

You will be able to charge the phone. However I don’t believe any laptop USB output will support fast/quick charging. Fast charging is ok to use, there are safety features built in.

Ok that's good, i won't be actually using fast charging because i'll be sleeping all the time lol, i'll just charge it normally but it will depend on me how much i use the phone and how fast the battery drains (on my phone) but all in all thanks for the help.
