I got two Actiontec Moca 2.0 adapters and I was wondering if I could use the one not next to my router and modem and connect it to a new router with similar speeds.

Solution
it supports speeds up to 1 gb/s so it should be able to handle your whole speed. keep in mind though that with overhead you won't get 100% but it should be pretty close.

It basically is the same as an ethernet cable so it can do almost everything an ethernet cable can and at the same speed. Keep in mind though that you can't have 2x routers on a network without some special configurations.

For the two routers, I was planning on using asus’s aimesh for this setup.
