Assuming you have a free SATA slot and power cable, yes it is possible.

I'm not sure what you mean by "is there an internal drive". By PC do you mean desktop or laptop?

Yes you can connect your BD Drive with your PC depending upon the configuration you are running. If your drive is USB based i.e external drive than it can be connected on Laptop/Desktop regardless. If it is SATA based then make sure to have a free SATA connector on motherboard and SATA+Power cables to connect to the drive.

You can also mount SATA based drive with laptop/desktop using SATA-to-USB connector. That is an option as well.
