I just got a new laptop for college and wanted to see if there's a way I can connect the 144hz monitor I already own to my new laptop.

This is what I own:
If there is an adapter or cable that would work please give a link where I can buy it if you are able. (I would prefer to use the HDMI 2.0 port if possible as I am already using the USB Type C for an external ssd, however if needed I can use the ssd with the "SuperSpeed" USB Type A port instead).

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

I assume your laptop have Nvidia GPU. You can connect laptop to monitor with HDMI cable. However G-SYNC most likely will not work then, because your laptop have HDMI 2.0. But G-SYNC works only over DisplayPort or starting from HDMI 2.1. You can upgrade Nvidia drivers and try to enable G-SYNC in Display Settings though - maybe you are lucky. Proper way though for your laptop is to connect monitor with DisplayPort cable through USB-C to DisplayPort adapter.

Thanks! Yea for some reason it doesn't say on the specs page but it is a 1660ti. I read somewhere that 2.0 can handle 144hz (it's just that the HDMI port on the monitor itself cannot) so I was thinking there could possibly be an HDMI to DisplayPort adapter that would work, however if there isn't I'm more than happy to get a USB-C to DisplayPort. Once again thanks for helping me out with this (y)
