[SOLVED] can i connect rgb to molex cable

i have h61m-cs motherboard it doesnt have a rgb header can i connect the rgb cable of the rgb fan to the molex cable of the psu , will my rgb light up?

No, you'd have to make a connector and likely all it would do is fry the rgb on the fan and possible damage the PSU aswell.

RGB lights need a connection to a Controller, NOT just to a 12 VDC power supply. (In fact, the ARGB light system needs only 5 VDC, and would be burned out by 12 VDC.) The Controller does TWO jobs - supplies the correct power, and also supplies all the signals to make the lights go on and off and change.
