Question Can I fit a 3 slot gpu in a micro ATX motherboard

Should be fine as long the back of the case has enough openings. In my opinion dump the 1660 however. This card is cheaper and better.

Edit. The 1660 is worse than I thought. That card appears to be simply a regular 1660. I used to own a 1660 super which is faster than the normal 1660, and the rx 6600 should beat the super.

Left a link above comparing the 1660 vs the 6600, as you can see there’s quite a difference. The 6600 is closer to a 3060. For the money I’d go with the 6600.

there is a pretty big difference in prices in my country. Especially with the discount for the 1660 that i found

Oh you mean the front panel connector? The card you looked at before was a 3 slot. The 6600 is a dual slot so it would be longer but should have more clearance I think since the card doesn’t appear to be as thick. Plus they usually try to put the connectors at the bottom right of the board.

If you want to stay nvidia this is a better card, appears to be a dual slot instead of 3.

If you want a 1660 super here’s one cheaper than the original card which would be.

If you want a 1660 non super, to be safe I’d look at a dual slot card to be safe. Those aren’t exactly high power cards so shouldn’t need a triple slot cooler unless you don’t have good airflow. But of all the cards listed the rx 6600 is going to be a better performer than any of them, but it’s your money.

it will fit on the motherboard no problem. the connection is standardized.

the question is does it fit inside the case?? to know that answer, we need to know what case you are working with? every case is different and can fit different stuff.

Agreed on 2/3 of what you said- the PCIe connection is standardized and the case is the real wildcard here. But, looking at the pic of the board, a long GPU is going to restrict or perhaps prevent access to one of the SATA ports, which may or may not be a deal breaker depending on the setup. The GPU that the OP mentions doesn't appear to be long enough for this to be an issue, but most cards are not that short, lengthwise.

OP: GTX 1660 is a fine card, but it is pretty much at the performance basement for gaming systems these days. Any chance you could find a used RTX 2xxx where you're at?
