Question can i fix the motherboard

My brother an Asus A88xm-plus motherboard and we have run into an issue when booting where it just gets to the press f2 key to enter bios and just stays on that screen

Have you tried replacing the CMOS battery with a fresh cell? Also, did you change any settings within BIOS prior, like an overclock? You should be able to see an option to set defaults, save & exit and see if that helps your cause.

yes i replaced cmos battery to be sure and thats the thing i can't open the bios at all and no never been overclocked just kept as standard
