I have a 144hz monitor but my graphics card only allows me to use 85hz with hdmi. I was wondering if I could upgrade my case to fit a bigger power supply to support a better graphics card.

Installed Graphics card - https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/zotac-geforce-gt-1030-2gb-gddr5-hdmi-vga-low-profile

You could get a GTX 1050 (low profile), which supports 144 Hz.
You will need to connect your monitor via Dual-Link DVI, DisplayPort, or an HDMI 1.4 or better.

If you upgrade your case, you won't be able to use the proprietary motherboard and PSU on your system.
You will have to get a whole new system.

Interesting, they don't use standard ATX format motherboards? I would have thought that would be the industry standard and would be more expensive to make their own boards to fit their cases.

I any case I think fitting a power hungry gfc into the case will make the thing heat up like mad. I think they will be some serious cooling issues with the case.

I just had another look at the HP link and did a quick google, some mobo are btx (not completely proprietry, just a different standard). The picture of the mobo does make it look like a standard mini atx to me.

I'm not sure I'd want to put a powerful card in a small case, it would shorten the life of the components.
