Hello guys,
I have an Asus h310m-k with only DVI and VGA outputs, with an Intel Core i7 9700k...
According to mb manual it can support up to 1920x1200 60hz but my CPU would support more than 4k if I wasn't wrong...
I'm planning to buy 3060 ti and an 144hz 2k ultra wide monitor... my question is, if I buy the monitor first, is it possible to achieve 3440x1440 resolution with hdmi adapter with onboard gpu? As my CPU should support it??

The integrated graphics supports higher resolutions but you're limited due to the motherboard. Adding an adapter is not going to change the capabilities of the motherboard. The same CPU on a Z390 motherboard can support much higher resolution than the H310. The 9700k installed on an H310 board is...

The same CPU on a Z390 motherboard can support much higher resolution than the H310. The 9700k installed on an H310 board is not a good pairing and limits the CPU and thereby the iGPU capabilities.
