Hey everybody, so my birthday is coming up and I've been thinking for a while about building a pc. As with anything, you should know the in's and out's when you buy something so whilst i have been researching computer building i'm wondering if there's anything that wont work together.
Here's my list=

Or
Alternative Mother Board-MSI Z68A-G43 (G3) = $109

My friend has told me that he believes the cpu will fulfill my needs for gaming. I thought i would be okay for a while and i'd be able to overclock it a lot. Is this woefully under-powerful.
Also there are quite a few LGA 1155 mobo's that recquire a sandy bridge (maybe ivy bridge cant remember) cpu for the ability to run 1600 ram. Will the i5-3570k be able to run my ram.

My budget is $800 aud. I already have my Razer Deathadder 2013 they keyboard i have selected online happens to come with the keyboard, mouse and mousepad due to the fact that i am using my laptop of this very moment, no i dont have an external keyboard.

This is a build I put together in ~10 minutes, so if anybody spots anything wrong with it please tell me. It's a mid tower case with good airflow etc.... a 950 should be able to play older games at high settings on 1080p and most recent games at medium or low settings, maybe high(you should check benchmarks with this gpu for the game you want) if its a game like warframe.

And I didn't get a aftermarket cpu cooler because the stock intel cooler that comes with the i5 6400 is great since your not going to overclock(unlocked cpus like the i5 6600k normally dont come with stock coolers and if your overclocking then a aftermarket cpu cooler is a must) and this cpu won't bottleneck your gpu. The 500w psu is kind of overkill so you can get a 400w one but I picked this because it's great quality and is priced pretty well. You'll probably be wondering what the 1tb hybrid drive I selected is. It's basically a normal hdd(hard disk drive but with a small 8gb ssd built in. The 8gb ssd(solid state drive) will help increase boot times. Hope you like it!

He lives in Australia. That part list does not apply!!

Some of the selected retailers are from either online stores etc. or they are selling second hand products that are still in top shape. Goes to show you realy can find some bargains if look hard enough. Btw I was super suprised about the os price as well. At first I thought it was a scam and had a look at website reviews for it. Turns out their legit.
