Question Can I have two RAM modules that have same speed/timings/capacity but they are different model?

I'm planning on upgrading my PC and I want to add more ram. The problem is that my current model got discontinued, but there are very similar ones from the same brand. So my question is will it be compatibile 100%.

Maybe. that's about all that we can say. Until you try it you won't really know. There is just too many variables.

As long as the,
Voltage
clock speed
CAS Latency timings

are the same then it should not cause much issue. There is still a teeeeeny risk of having random crashes or instabilities, but if everything about the modules are the same you should be safe.
