Can i hook up my led strips by usb cable from inside the case?

basically my led strips that i plan on getting are powered via usb cable, and im wondering if i can connect that usb cable to my motherboard directly from the inside. (Isnt there a place for that, and thats where the usb ports from the case connects) i need to know how i can connect them to the motherboard inside with a usb

if i use this will there still be place for any usb ports on the case?

Depends on the motherboard, though it should still have more than one internal header (if not, there are expansion cards for that exact reason).

Just a heads up, that IR receiver on the LED strip requires a direct, unobstructed line of site to the remote. So plan ahead.

do you have any other strips that connect via molex? maybe that would work out better

I havent really seen any molex strips that are remote controlled.
The receiver is the white dongle with the black tip coming off the strip.
