I am tired of google saying no you can't but i saw a yt video that somehow switched cpu. I want to turn my 2014 laptop into a modern gaming laptop, Cpu and gpu.

What is the make/model of your laptop? If the CPU is soldered in place, then you can't upgrade it. You might be able to swap for a motherboard with a stronger CPU. Really depends on the system you are using.

If the CPU is socketed, you may be able to upgrade it. This is a maybe. Once again, depends on what system you have a what CPUs your BIOS will support.

I am pretty sure that CPU is soldered to the motherboard.

Once you have the model of the laptop, you might find that the model came with stronger CPUs in some of their variants. Swapping in the motherboard one of those may be possible.

It will still be old and slow. It really isn't worth the effort. Last, laptop motherboards are not standard like with desktop systems.
