Hello i would like to know if either of these fans would be ok to mount on my Kraken X62 radiator.

I don't know the difference between the two besides one says FCB and the other HPB, not sure what those stand for. I would like to buy a Cougar Panzer Evo RGB case, which already comes with 4 of these fans. I would like to buy more of these fans so the fans match, i don't want to buy another brands RGB fans. Or if someone can tell me if this company sells fans made for mounting on radiators ? Thanks!

The fans are different between those two kits. The CF-V12SET-RGB, which is the second kit you have linked, is the better of the kits based on the fans HOWEVER, honestly, neither of them is very good because the fans from both kits have very low static pressure ratings. If you have to get one of them, get the second kit, but honestly if you want a cooler with very good performance, that one is not going to be it.

Unfortunately there really AREN'T any RGB fans out there, from ANY companies, that have good performance when it comes to static pressure which is probably the MOST important aspect of any fan that is going to be used for intake, or a radiator, or on a CPU cooler heatsink. That is why ALL of the best rated CPU coolers and AIO closed loop coolers are models that do not come with RGB fans. There is simply not enough room in the fan motor housing to fit both a larger high performance fan motor AND the electronics for the RGB lighting. Or at least that's the only reasoning I've been able to come up with for why. Bottom line, if looks are the most important consideration, then that kit probably will do fine.

If performance is a desired component, then it's probably going to be a letdown.

Static pressure on those Prisma AL-12 fans is actually not too bad, although it's a paper spec and I'd want to see if that bears out in actual reviews because I've not seen any other fans with both RGB AND static pressure ratings that high. The 140mm model, Prisma AL-14 also has over 2mm H20 static pressure which again, isn't horrible for an RGB fan. By comparison, even the very high end Corsair Maglev ML140 Pro RGB fans only have 1.27mm static pressure, so these are nearly double that. Guess I now have an RGB fan series I can at least somewhat recommend when somebody insists they must have a fan that's RGB.

Thanks for the replies everyone. So basically, screw the idea of putting RGB fans on my Kraken X62. At this point i'll just mount it on the top of my case without any RGB instead of infront as intended. Will it be good airflow to have it as the 3 stock front fans intake, 1 rear exhaust and then the X62 as exhaust on top ? Case is Cougar Panzer evo.

That configuration COULD work fine. It is correctly configured as far as what should be intake and what should be exhaust in terms of fan locations.

However, you'll get better cooling performance using your radiator in front, in an intake configuration, where you can use the cooler ambient air instead of trying to use the warmer internal case air, to cool the radiator and loop.

Yeah i know that, it's just the front of the case comes with the 3 RGB fans that make the case look great. Removing them to put them up top to make room for the AIO with its stock fans would ruin the look in my opinion. That configuration would raise the temps by not more than 10 degrees ? If so i wouldn't mind that.
