I don't need it but I was just curious. Can I overclock my i5-6500? I looked on the intel website and it says that it can be run at its max turbo frequency at 3.6 Mhz nstead of 3.2Mhz. My Mobo is an ASUS PRIME -H270- PLUS.

Solution
You can enable it to run at all-core boost, but beyond that you're limited to BCLK overclocking.
Minimal improvements possible, stability issues likely - and I believe that would require a Z series motherboard.

So would running all core boost require Z-series ? If not, is all core boost just a enable / disable feature in bios?
