Can i overclocl to 3.0ghz

so can i im am thinking 3.2ghz

download HWmonitor or Core Temp and check what your Temperature is within windows.

If it is around 30-45 in idle, then try to OC it.
I am actually doing the same thing, I got an increase of 400mhz on a phenom x3.

if anything goes wrong your motherboard will let you know.

you can also activate the Temperature warning in your bios just to be on the safe side.

some people can go up to 90c without burning their CPU's.

in my opinion, go ahead and try, why the heck not.

I see an improvement with 400mhz, you might see some with 200mhz.

the max teamps were 10 c

lol 10c? hmmmm I have never seen that before. You must be living somewhere really cold lol.

anyway just make sure you have the right temperature, use other programs.
but if your temperature is right, then you have no problems.
the only issue of overclocking is either you run out of power which worse case scenario your computer will shutdown. or your processor over heats.

but since its 10c, then your okay. go ahead and overclock it bit by bit and see how far you can go. just dont get too greedy :)

i keep my case open and have 4 fans
and it is winter

okay you might want to upgrade your bios version to the latest.

also it wont work if u just clock it really high, start off by adding 100mhz, then use OCCT to check for stability. if everything is okay start going higher.

i works but post is slow

i got it just slow boot
