I have a Dell 7567 with an i7-7700HQ and gtx 1050ti.

The laptop has an HDMI 2.0 port.

The laptop's screen is 1080p@60hz and both of my monitors support max 1080p@60hz through their HDMI In ports...

Do I get the same gaming performance when using the laptop's display and when using my external monitors connected to the laptop's HDMI port ?

Is the HDMI out port on the laptop wired to the gtx 1050 ti or the iGPU ?

Can i get the gtx 1050 ti's performance through the HDMI out port ?

You can specify in Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics which GPU to use if the app is using the wrong one. Example of this:

With a new(ish) lappy, you should normally be able to get similar if not better performance from the 1050ti, depending on what iGPU is in the machine. 1080p is not that demanding in general...but the 1050ti isn't exactly a powerhouse GPU either...

And as noted above, you should be able to switch to the 1050ti in your settings, and/or a per-app basis if need be.

For example, for work, I use a fairly new HP lappy, which has an HDMI port as well as 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports and an Intel Iris XE iGPU.

I have 1x 48" 1080p monitor connected to the HDMI port, and 2x 32" 1080p monitors connected thru one of the USB-C ports via a 2 port USB-C-to-HDMI adapter hub, notta problemo :)
