Here are some specs you'll probably need to know to help answer my question below:
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- AMD RX 7900 XT
- Corsair RM850e (UK cable kit)

Alright so my cable kit came with only one direct PCIE to PCIE cable and I'll not go off topic but I am basically wondering if I can use a 12V-2X6 to a dual 8 pin PCIE to power my GPU. So to clarify, it comes out of a 12V-2X6 connection off my PSU, splits into 2 8 pin PCIE cables in which I'm wondering can power my GPU.
I am new to building and from what I'm seeing here the manufacturers are basically trying to get you to move from PCIE to 12V-2X6 and if your GPU doesn't support the new cable then it comes with a splitter instead that gives you 2 modular PCIEs. If that's not the case can someone please tell me because I've been researching all day and I'm shattered. All the people who I've asked say it should be good but I haven't seen anybody else do this, at least for now.
I wouldn't mind ordering another PCIE cable but surely that splitter wouldn't even be included if it wasn't intended for powering a GPU and they would've thrown in another PCIE cable.
Anyway I hope people are having a less confusing day than I am

So, you bought another set of power cables for your PSU?

Since your PSU does have default PCI-E power cables that you can use. You have one 8-pin PCI-E and two 6+2 pin PCI-E cables with the PSU.

Well, yes, IF the adapter is quality one. But you do not need to use the adapter, since your PSU already has enough cables to power your GPU.

Do note that the 12V-2x6 is only Nvidia thing. AMD and Intel GPUs use the standard 6-pin or 8-pin PCI-E power connectors.

Yeah the UK version comes with the 12V-2x6 to 2x 6+2-pin PCIe cables. If your card has 2x 8-pin connectors use the single PCIe cable from the PSU and one of the two connectors off the other, and if it has 3 use all of them.
