Hi Yall,
I found this desktop, and I m confused. It says it has Integrated Graphics ?
I thought only APU processors have Integrated Graphics?
This one has a CPU, right ?
Would the Mother Board support a graphics card, say 2gb ?

TigerDirect

Thank You

Your cpu dont have enough powerful Interpreted graphics as APU, but yes it have Integrated Graphics in it.
you can install graphics card into that system, you can add a graphics card like upto gtx 960

The biggest issue with a any GPU is that this probably has just a Power Supply that will barely get the system by as is. Second, that is one of the worst CPU's you can get and any modern graphics card would be immedietly bottlenecked. Not worth buying if you were planning on using it as a gaming rig. Save up more ($500) and maybe you can build a decent one.

Please don't get his hopes up we don't even know what PSU it has (you need 450w for 960). That and the processor would completely bottleneck that card.

It has integrated graphics right now aka it works without a graphics card.. Adding a graphics card is a BAD idea because a prebuilt machine like that im sure barely runs on the PSU it is given. If you add any semi decent card to that it will be over the PSU limit. Also will have to make sure it fits in ect. Also that CPU will bottleneck the GPU with any big games.. farcry.. borderlands... skyrim ect. Save up some money and build your own :) it will be well worth it and youll end up with something much much better.

If i built a computer for 2k it would tripple this thing. TRUST me building your own is much cheaper and better.

The one u posted has a 4860HQ which means its a mobile/laptop type which makes it much slower.. Same thing with the m at the end of the graphics card. Do yourself a favor and build a true gaming rig that will also save you some money :)
