Can I put pressure on my graphic card to close my case ?

Hi, according to pcpartpicker my MSI RX 480 would fit in my Corsair Air 240 case. However, when I attach the PCI-E cable to the graphic card, I can barely close the case. I tried to push it a bit and it did fit, but I am afraid it could damage the card if I put some pressure on it. I really don't want to start all over again and replace this case for another one, so is it fine to push the PCI-E cable and the graphic card a bit to close the side window panel of the Corsair Air 240 ? Thanks.

He might have not get the point...
There is actually NO way to find an "adapter" to your issue.
The options you can take are reduced but... you can also be creative with them...
For example you can cut the case and then using some screws and some pvc to make a kind of "case" for the parts of the card that went unprotected.

Honestly?

Return it and buy a different case. It doesn't fit properly. The other option is to buy a different GPU that has the plug at the back. Otherwise closing the case with it that tight against it is a bad idea. The bend in the wires you have is fine, but having something continually push against it is not.

The only thing I can say otherwise is are you 100% sure eveything is fully seated especially the PCIe power plug and mounted properly? This issue is strange in that I haven't seen it before and most GPUs have their plugs on top.

Yes , I am 100% sure that everything is mounted proprely, and I agree , I dont know why they put the plug there. Anyhow, I turned my PC on the side so my window panel would be on top and when I put the window panel in place, I didnt need to put that much pressure compared to when it was on the side. I think if I just bend the wires of the PCI-E cable I should be able to easily screw my panel and then turned it back to its original position. I can't be the first person to build a PC with an MSI RX 480 in a Corsair Air 240 case... but I wasn't able to find any other people who were having similar problem. So I suppose this is a good sign, I'll just take the risk. Hopefully everything will be fine. I really appreciate your support. Thanks everyone!

That makes me question any other screws holding the case together (if there are any). While its on its side I would just double check all them are tight.
