Problem is, this PC is prebuilt (its an upgrade for a friends pc, he bought it prebuilt). All i know is its a 350W, and i cant open it because he has warranty for ~2 months still.Yes, you should be okay.
250w (or better) recommended. Clutchc is spot on, knowing the make/model of the PSU would help us confirm.

Intended on gaming.May I ask if you are intending on gaming with the RX 550? Or just using it as a integrated video replacement?
Opening to look at model of PSU should not void any warranties.Problem is, this PC is prebuilt (its an upgrade for a friends pc, he bought it prebuilt). All i know is its a 350W, and i cant open it because he has warranty for ~2 months still.
yup, i havent even bought the board, i just wanna be certain. also sorry for taking a while to respond.I'm confused. You say you don't want to open his PC to look at the PSU nameplate, but you'll have to open it to install the graphics card. Are you going to wait until the warranty expires and then open it to install the card?
A good quality 350W PSU should have a 6-pin connector and be able to handle faster cards than the RX 550. The GTX 1650 for example. What pre-built PC is it?
